I grew up on a large cattle and grain farm outside of Beaverlodge, Alberta. Although I am still connected to my roots in the north I am proud to have made Kamloops my home.
To be a good lawyer in any community, I think you need to be involved. Since I moved to Kamloops in 2003, I have become actively engaged in organizations such as Rotary, The Chamber of Commerce, the Curling Club and the TRU Alumni Association. I believe that the better I understand how the community is connected, the better legal solutions I can provide. Prior to my legal career, my background was in the adventure tourism industry. I graduated from Thompson Rivers University with a Tourism Management Degree and worked in the Whitewater Rafting Industry for several years. I have worked with First Nation communities and the Chilean Economic Development Branch, creating frameworks for tourism development business opportunities. My current practice involves business development, commercial transactions, real estate, estate planning and management, aboriginal business development and foreclosure work. My farming background has also allowed me the opportunity to work well with the agricultural industry in British Columbia. I pride myself on being a good communicator and quick to understand your needs.
For me, establishing a good relationship and understanding your business is the foundation of being a good lawyer. I look forward to having the opportunity to help you. I encourage you to email me at email@example.com or call me at (250) 434-2333.
