I am an associate lawyer at Forward Law LLP. My interest and focus is in providing services to litigation clients, with a focus on employment law, human rights law, sexual assault claims, personal injury claims, and breach of contract disputes. I have appeared and assisted with matters in the BC Provincial Court, the BC Supreme Court and the BC Court of Appeal. Of course, not all disputes are resolved in court, and I enjoy my daily dose of negotiating on behalf of clients. I also enjoy assisting clients in understanding the workings of the law and legal systems as they face challenging circumstances and decisions.
I began my legal career working as an assistant. I was proud of the work I did and what I achieved in that role, but decided being a lawyer was a better role for me. I will never discount the edge that I think working as an assistant has given me in my practice management skills and understanding of process. I left Kamloops to attend law school at the University of Victoria. I returned to complete my final semester at Thompson Rivers University law school. I am a BC kid with no fixed hometown, but obviously Kamloops continues to draw me in.
Outside of work, I will be spending valuable time with my son and husband. We enjoy adventuring and travelling. I like to run and I also enjoy spending my time on the ski hill.
I would encourage you to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 1-855-434-2333
